How easy is it to get my existing projects loaded into the schedule?

The Sydney-based team can help you get set up and even import your current projects and quotes during your trial.

Can I use the planning tool to manage plant and equipment usage?

You can set custom buy and sell rates for your machinery. When the crew logs their hours against a task in the schedule, they can also log the equipment hours, so you know exactly what the gear is costing you on each job.

Does the scheduling software connect with my accounting package?

The platform has a two-way sync with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. This means your job planning and financial data talk to each other, so you aren't stuck doing double data entry on your weekend.

Can I track how the actual job progress compares to my original plan?

The reporting features let you look at your actuals versus your estimates for each project stage. This gives you a clear view of whether you're ahead of schedule or if the job is starting to chew up your margin.

Will my team be able to see the project schedule on their phones?

The crew all their jobs and tasks right from the mobile app. Whether they're on an iPhone or Android, they’ll stay updated with real-time changes so everyone is working off the same plan.

Can I send messages to the crew about schedule changes through the app?

If there's a last-minute change to the plan, you can send an instant message or SMS to the team through NextMinute. It keeps all project communication in one spot rather than digging through old texts or WhatsApp groups.

How do I handle task dependencies if a job stage gets delayed?

NextMinute uses smart dependencies in the planning tool. If one stage of the construction project is delayed, you just move that block and the software automatically shifts all the following tasks for you, keeping the whole timeline accurate.

Is it possible to view site plans and project scope within the schedule?

All your project info, including site plans and the job scope, is stored right inside the app. The crew can pull up the plans on their tablet or phone while on-site, ensuring they're following the right specs for the current task.

Can I assign specific tasks to my crew from the scheduling tool?

You can assign tasks directly to the crew through the app. They’ll see exactly where they need to be and what needs doing for the day, which means fewer phone calls back and forth and less time wasted when they arrive on site.

How does the drag-and-drop Gantt chart help with my project scheduling?

The Gantt chart lets you visually map out every stage of a build. If you get hit with a week of rain or a subbie pushes back, you can simply drag the task to a new date and all the linked dependencies follow suit, so you don't have to manually update every single task.
